👷♂️ Position: Geotechnical Design Engineer (Piling & Shoring)
📍 Location: Dubai, UAE
🕒 Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)
🔧 Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
✅ Design of Piling Systems
Bored piles
Driven piles
Micro piles
Sheet piles
✅ Design of Shoring / Earth Retaining Systems
Secant pile walls
Contiguous pile walls
Soldier pile walls
Anchors & struts
Diaphragm walls
✅ Technical & Engineering Duties
Perform geotechnical analysis for deep excavations and foundation works
Prepare detailed design calculations and technical reports
Develop and review technical drawings
Coordinate with structural consultants and site teams
Review shop drawings and method statements
Conduct site visits and supervise implementation
Provide technical recommendations during execution
✅ Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
Dubai Municipality (DM)
Trakhees
RTA standards
🎓 Required Qualifications
Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) Piling & Foundation License
Bachelor’s Degree in:
Civil Engineering
Geotechnical Engineering
Related field
💻 Software Skills
Experience in geotechnical design tools such as:
PLAXIS
Wallap
L-Pile
GEO5
Prokon
🧠 Core Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent project management capability
Ability to develop cost-effective and safe foundation solutions
Strong coordination and communication skills
