Radiant Utama Interinsco (PHSS Zona 9) is seeking a driven Junior Geologist to join our technical operations in Balikpapan. This position offers exceptional hands-on development in subsurface mapping, reservoir characterization, and well planning.
✓ Candidate Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering or Geology.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 0–2 years of relevant experience is preferred. Prior internship, On-the-Job Training (OJT), or project experience in upstream Oil & Gas is an advantage.
- Language: Good command of written and verbal English is preferred.
- Placement: Must be willing to be placed full-time in Balikpapan (PHSS Zona 9).
★ Key Technical Competencies
- Strong foundation in subsurface geology & reservoir characterization.
- Proficiency in well log interpretation, well correlation, facies analysis, and depositional environment interpretation.
- Basic knowledge of petrophysical analysis, static geological modeling, and hydrocarbon in-place volumetric calculations.
- Working knowledge of well proposal creation and drilling planning workflows.
- Familiarity with Petrel or other subsurface interpretation software.
