About the Role

The Specialist, Geophysics will play a key role in supporting exploration and field development activities through advanced seismic interpretation and geophysical analysis.

The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to mature drilling targets, evaluate exploration opportunities, reduce geological uncertainty, and support reservoir development planning.

This role is ideal for experienced geophysicists who enjoy working on complex subsurface challenges and contributing to high-value exploration and production projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Specialist, Geophysics, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead seismic interpretation projects.

• Integrate seismic interpretation with reservoir studies.

• Support drilling target maturation.

• Perform prospect risk assessment.

• Conduct volumetric calculations.

• Interpret subsurface geological structures.

• Utilize Landmark SeisWorks for seismic interpretation.

• Work extensively with Petrel software.

• Coordinate with operating companies (OPCOs).

• Collaborate with external consultants.

• Participate in multidisciplinary technical studies.

• Monitor project execution.

• Provide regular project updates to management.

• Support development planning activities.

• Deliver high-quality technical recommendations.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Geophysics

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience

• Strong expertise in seismic interpretation

• Experience supporting development projects

• Advanced knowledge of Petrel

• Advanced knowledge of Landmark SeisWorks
