Job Responsibilities

The selected Geotechnical Inspector will be responsible for:

• Inspect excavation and earthworks activities.

• Monitor filling, reclamation, compaction, and foundation preparation.

• Witness and review geotechnical field and laboratory testing including:

  • Field Density Test (FDT)

  • California Bearing Ratio (CBR)

  • Standard Penetration Test (SPT)

  • Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP)

  • Plate Load Test (PLT)

• Inspect ground improvement works including:

  • Vibro Compaction

  • Stone Columns

  • Deep Soil Mixing

  • Pressure Grouting

• Verify quality documentation and testing records.

• Prepare daily inspection reports.

• Raise Inspection Requests (IRs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

• Follow corrective actions until closure.

• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Contractors, Survey Teams, and Testing Laboratories.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of geotechnical inspection experience.

• Experience working on major infrastructure projects.

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.

• Excellent reporting and documentation skills.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• UAE infrastructure project experience.

• Enabling works experience.

• Relevant HSE certifications.
