Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support greenfields exploration projects focusing on precious metals and will be responsible for:
Geological mapping
Rock, soil, and geochemical sampling
Drilling supervision
Geological logging
Target generation and interpretation
Supporting exploration programs across remote project areas
Assisting with technical reporting and exploration planning
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of exploration geology experience
Strong experience in greenfields exploration
Proven experience exploring gold and precious metal deposits
Experience with geological mapping and sampling
Drilling supervision experience
Target generation and geological interpretation skills
Valid driver's licence
Valid passport
Willingness to travel frequently
Ability to work in remote exploration camps
Preferred Skills
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
Excellent field geology skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Experience working across Southern Africa is an advantage
