Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Conducting comprehensive geological studies and integrated reservoir evaluations.
Building detailed 3D geological models using industry-standard software.
Performing stratigraphic correlation and reservoir characterization.
Interpreting well logging and petrophysical data.
Extracting and analyzing seismic attributes.
Conducting reserve estimation and reserve parameter evaluation.
Evaluating hydrocarbon-bearing zones and effective reservoir thickness.
Performing structural interpretation and trap analysis.
Developing natural fracture and geological models.
Supporting field development planning and reservoir management activities.
Conducting technical due diligence and asset evaluation studies.
Preparing technical reports, presentations, and management recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Petroleum Geology, Reservoir Geology, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in oilfield geological research and reservoir evaluation.
Strong expertise in reservoir characterization and geological interpretation.
Experience with reserve estimation and field development studies.
Advanced knowledge of stratigraphic correlation and reservoir subdivision.
Proficiency in geological modeling software such as Petrel.
Strong technical reporting and presentation skills.
Excellent communication abilities in English and Chinese.
Willingness to travel internationally for project assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:
Integrated reservoir studies for producing oilfields.
Multidisciplinary collaboration with reservoir engineers and field development teams.
Oil and gas asset evaluation and technical due diligence.
Field development planning and new venture assessments.
Middle East and international oil & gas project experience.
