Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Leading exploration and grade control activities
Supervising drilling, geological logging, sampling, and mapping
Supporting open pit mining operations by defining ore and waste boundaries
Developing and updating geological models and reconciliation reports
Coordinating with mining, survey, laboratory, and processing teams
Leading and mentoring junior geology team members
Job Requirements
Candidates applying for this Senior Geologist role should have:
Degree in Geology or a related field
5–8 years of experience in gold mining, exploration, or grade control
Experience working in open pit mining operations
Knowledge of Surpac or similar geological software is an advantage
Willingness to work on-site under a roster schedule
