About the Role
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for analyzing soil and rock conditions for underground construction projects, particularly tunnel infrastructure. The role requires strong technical knowledge in geotechnical design, ground behavior analysis, and foundation systems used in major infrastructure developments.
Tunnel projects require careful evaluation of ground conditions, groundwater pressure, and soil stability. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that tunnel structures are safe, stable, and constructed according to engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Geotechnical Investigation
Analyze soil and rock properties for tunnel construction.
Review borehole logs, laboratory test results, and geotechnical reports.
Evaluate subsurface conditions and groundwater behavior.
Tunnel Engineering Support
Provide geotechnical input for tunnel design and excavation methods.
Support design teams working on underground infrastructure.
Monitor ground conditions during tunnel excavation.
Foundation and Ground Design

Recommend suitable ground improvement techniques.
Evaluate soil stability and settlement risks.
Site Monitoring and Safety

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical specialization preferred)
