A new consultancy opportunity for experienced geologists is available with DABAI Geoconsult Limited. The company is looking for a Tenements Management Specialist (Consulting Geologist) to support exploration projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
This short-term consultancy focuses mainly on preparing Annual Technical Reports (ATRs) for Exploration Licenses (ELs) in accordance with the guidelines of the Mineral Resources Authority.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in exploration geology, tenement management, and regulatory reporting.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
The selected consultant will be responsible for:
Preparing Annual Technical Reports (ATRs) for Exploration Licenses
Ensuring reports meet MRA regulatory requirements
Reviewing historical exploration data and geological interpretations
Evaluating exploration work programs and expenditure records
Coordinating with field teams and project geologists
Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting timelines
Advising on tenement renewals, relinquishments, and compliance risks
Maintaining organized tenement documentation and data registers
Assisting with future work programs and expenditure forecasts
🎓 Required Qualifications
Applicants should have:
Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences
Additional professional certifications or experience in exploration projects will be an advantage.
⏳ Experience Requirements
Candidates should have:
Minimum 5 years of experience in exploration geology or tenement management
Experience working with regulatory reporting systems
Knowledge of Exploration License compliance processes
Experience working with the PNG mineral regulatory framework will be highly valuable.
