🎓 Educational Requirements
Candidates should have one of the following degrees:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Geophysics
Bachelor’s Degree in Geology
Bachelor’s Degree in Earth Sciences
Higher qualifications will be considered an advantage.
🧑💻 Experience Requirements
Applicants should meet the following experience criteria:
Minimum 8 years of experience in seismic data acquisition projects
Strong experience in 2D and 3D seismic acquisition design
Experience in seismic data quality control (QC)
Knowledge of field acquisition procedures and data validation
🖥️ Required Software Skills
Candidates should be familiar with the following geophysical software:
Promax
Vista
OMNI
SeisSpace
Experience using these tools for data processing, QC, and seismic interpretation support will be highly valuable.
🔍 Key Technical Skills
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge in:
Source and receiver seismic geometry
Field quality control (QC) procedures
Seismic acquisition design
Data analysis and interpretation
Technical reporting and documentation
Strong analytical thinking and reporting skills are also essential for this role.
