📌 Job Overview

As a Geologist, you will be responsible for:

Planning and supervising ground investigations
Collecting and interpreting geological data
Supporting engineering design and risk assessments

This role offers a perfect mix of site work + office reporting, giving you exposure to real-world geotechnical projects.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

🔹 Supervise and coordinate ground investigation works
🔹 Log soils and rocks as per BS5930 standards
🔹 Oversee drilling, sampling & in-situ testing
🔹 Collect and interpret geotechnical data
🔹 Prepare:

Risk Assessments
Method Statements
Site Documentation

🔹 Liaise with clients, contractors & engineers
🔹 Assist in preparing factual & interpretative reports
🔹 Ensure health & safety compliance on site

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

✔️ Degree in:

Geology
Engineering Geology
Geotechnical Engineering (or similar)

✔️ 2–3 years experience in UK ground investigation projects
✔️ Knowledge of UK geotechnical standards
✔️ Strong communication & teamwork skills
✔️ Ability to work independently and on-site
✔️ Full UK Driving License 🚗
