🎯 Position Summary

EOG Resources is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Geological Technician to support geoscience and engineering teams.

You will play a key role in:

Managing large datasets 📊
Supporting exploration & production workflows
Assisting in reservoir characterization and well planning

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

✨ Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Managing and organizing large geological datasets across platforms
Performing quality control (QC) on geological, geophysical & petrophysical data
Loading and maintaining:
- Well logs
- Core data
- Mud logs
- Production data
Supporting well planning with:
- Geological prognosis maps
- Offset well analysis
Assisting in reservoir characterization & prospect evaluation
Digitizing and georeferencing legacy maps & logs 🗺️
Maintaining structured digital & physical records
Collaborating with:
- Geologists
- Geophysicists
- Reservoir Engineers
- Drilling Teams
Ensuring data integrity & compliance standards

🎓 Required Qualifications

✔️ Bachelor’s or Associate degree in:

Geology
Earth Science
Related field

✔️ Experience:

Minimum 2+ years in oil & gas exploration or production

✔️ Technical Skills:

Geological software like:
- Petrel
- Kingdom
- Petra
Strong understanding of geological data
GIS & mapping tools (plus point)

✔️ Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail 🔍
Excellent data management
Ability to handle multiple projects
