🛠️ What You Will Do — Key Responsibilities
As a Geotechnical Engineer at SOCOTEC, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality engineering services aligned with regulatory and client requirements:
📌 Technical Deliverables
Prepare and review geotechnical investigation scopes, method statements, and soil permit requirements.
Evaluate geotechnical investigation reports including:
Shallow foundation design
Deep pile recommendations and calculations
Liquefaction analysis
Seismic design parameters (per Abu Dhabi code)
🧪 Investigations & Analyses
Review geophysical investigation reports from methods like MASW, ERT, CHS, and DHS.
Evaluate dewatering method statements, calculations, and drawings.
Assess soil improvement techniques and results — including compaction, grouting, drainage, chemical stabilization, reinforcement, and stone columns — ensuring quality control before foundation works commence.
🤝 Meetings & Collaboration
Attend and contribute to technical meetings with clients, project teams, and authorities.
