🛠 Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a vital role in planning, executing, and supervising geotechnical operations from start to finish.
Your role will include:

Planning and supervising geotechnical site investigations (drilling, sampling, and field testing, piling)
-
Analyzing soil, rock, and groundwater to assess risks and provide engineering recommendations
-
Supervising excavation, foundation preparation, ground improvement, and slope stabilization
-
Providing on-site technical solutions for geotechnical challenges during construction
-
Reviewing and approving inspection checklists and ensuring timely reporting (daily, weekly, monthly)
-
Coordinating with the Project Manager/Resident Engineer for quality management and inspections
-
Ensuring safety compliance in all geotechnical operations
-
Inspecting on-site and off-site materials and arranging field/lab tests for quality verification
-
Ensuring compliance with local and international geotechnical standards
🎓 Job Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
-
12+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
-
Expertise in soil and rock mechanics, foundation engineering, and ground improvement
-
Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio) and field testing equipment
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
