As a Junior INSITE Specialist, you will serve as a key field member in Halliburton's Sperry Drilling Services team. This role revolves around on-site geological and drilling data collection, real-time reporting, and client interaction. It’s a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in cutting-edge geoscience practices while working alongside world-class energy professionals.
🧪 Key Responsibilities

Lead job execution for geological and drilling data gathering.

Maintain and manage all Halliburton assets and equipment on the well site.

Offer technical guidance on equipment capabilities to the drilling team.

Record and interpret drilling data: Depth, ROP, Gas Units, Lag Time, and more.

Provide detailed lithological descriptions and identify formation names.

Generate and update mud logs and maintain drilling databases per SDL or client protocols.

Communicate findings via reports, notifications, and logs to customers.

Collect, label, and deliver cuttings samples as per customer requirements.

Perform safe rig-up/tear-down procedures at the site.

Ensure smooth shift transitions and maintain continuous communication.

Complete all required certifications and training to work on specific rigs.
📋 Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Geology is mandatory.

Minimum 1.5 years of relevant field experience.

Strong grasp of data logging, reporting, and interpretation.

Excellent communication skills and team coordination.

Comfortable with field-based roles and offshore/onshore rig environments.

Must have passed Halliburton-required competency tests or development tasks.
