🧭 What You’ll Do
As a Project Geology Engineering Geologist, you will:

Conduct field investigations, including trenching, drilling, geologic mapping, and geotechnical instrumentation

Create detailed geologic maps and cross sections
-
Analyze complex geologic data for design, construction, and maintenance of SWP facilities
-
Prepare clear, concise technical reports
-
Provide geologic support for urgent response efforts and field emergencies
-
Collaborate with contractors and inspect construction sites across the state
-
Travel across California, including overnight trips to remote locations

Experience with GIS, CAD, spreadsheets, and geological databases

Clear and professional technical writing and communication skills

A valid California Geologist or Engineering Geologist License (especially for Range D)

Bonus points for specialty licenses like CEG or CHG!
